    Otterbein Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Neighborhoods are unique, faith-based nursing homes created around a small house concept. Our neighborhoods consist of five large ranch style open- floorplan homes. Each home houses ten elders. Each elder has their own bedroom and bathroom.

     

    We are looking for dedicated nurses who want to join us in “liberating elders and those who serve them from the mindset of institutional care.” Your position gives you the opportunity to work with elders receiving skilled nursing or rehabilitation care.     Responsibilities

     

    • Communicates a sense of caring, concern and dignity for elders
    • Recognizes the autonomy and dignity of all elders
    • Understands how to place decision-making in the hands of elders
    • Focuses on providing high quality service
    • Demonstrates excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities
    • Makes prompt and accurate judgments with regard to elder care and emergencies
    • Works and communicates effectively with minimum supervision in a team environment

    Qualifications

     

    Education: Graduate of approved Nursing Program;

    Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio RN or LPN license, CPR;

    Experience: at least 6 months of direct care nursing practice desired
