    The Executive Director will lead the delivery of high quality services in a person centered environment. Responsibilities include managing the day- to- day operations of the facility, short term and long term planning activities and serving on the Otterbein Operations Team. A key responsibility is overseeing the sales and marketing of independent living housing options, referral marketing for assisted living and skilled nursing and staff recruitment and retention. The ED has frequent interaction with and leadership responsibility with the local board of directors and community relations.


    Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices is a health and human service ministry, serving approximately 2,000 older persons throughout western Ohio and Indiana. Otterbein has an opening for an Executive Director at our Franklin, IN location, a rural setting next to a large hospital.

    Results-driven professional who is passionate about empowering others.  Must have proven results in challenging and changing the status quo; Must have demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic and tactical plans that deliver high quality, census and revenue growth and employee retention in a long-term care environment; Experience in managing multiple sites or business units, a large CCRC and/or nursing home or other long term care environments are significant pluses. Solid clinical knowledge and/or nursing background desired. Must have a strong track record of selecting and developing high performing staff.  Experience leading a start-up or upgrade to existing facilities strongly desired. The ideal candidate will have a LNHA license, at least 5 years of operations leadership experience with a minimum of a BS/BA degree.  Masters degree a strong plus.
